Based from home, located as per role-specific details and typically based near good regional road networks. The employee will �cover� a geographic territory as defined by the Company, and subject to change. Currently, the territory has a �weighted-centre� located where we seek the candidate. The employee will typically be the only Fire Alarm & Emergency Lighting Maintenance & Commissioning Engineer to �cover� this territory.
It is clearly in the Company�s interest for engineers to keep working in their own territories wherever practicable. However, whilst not usually a large part of the job, there may be occasions when it is necessary to work away from home for periods of time. Particular attention is drawn to the early stages of the induction process during which the employee may have to be based away from home Monday to Friday, although rarely for more than three weeks.
